RARE 1948-1954 First Model
Under Lever Air Rifle Sn G27592 Nice condition for age . Dates to between 1948-1954. Woodwork and metal work are all original . First Model MK1 were not grooved for telescopic sight and on this example the grooves are correctly absent. The BSA factory info is worn but visible on the top of the body. 'BSA' is in the butt woodwork. The fore stock has finger grooves and the butt is ribbed. Fitted with foresight & adjustable dial rear sight .
Trigger guard tang is stamped with patent info .
I had it checked over by a Pro, all good. Shoots well. £475

These are rarely for sale, very collectible. .177 single shot, with round wooden cocking aid, no box.
Very good condition except for the front end of the barrel at the top, where the blueing is worn. Shoots well.
This particular model is thought to have been manufactured from 1953 to 1957
This is a very early model, plastic wood grips.
The LP53, which was modelled on Walther’s famous .22 LR Olympia target pistol, was Walther’s first and only spring powered air pistol. The mainspring and piston is fitted within the grip of the pistol and it is said that Walther designed it in this manner so that the recoil would simulate that of the .22 LR Olympia target pistol.
